Everyone knows it's always windy in Sparta! So what spring decorations could be more perfect for our downtown than kites?
In February, we passed out around 100 blank wooden kites, and we have gotten back so many creative designs! From flowers to ice cream cones, we're impressed with how talented our artistic community is! This was a fun activity for many families, individuals, and community groups such as Senior Neighbors and the Sparta Middle School Student Government. And they look amazing in our downtown garden beds and pots! So, as you're passing through windy downtown Sparta, make sure to check out the incredible kites decorated by our community!
