As we’re in the final moments of spring, we here at the Sparta Chamber of Commerce are getting excited to kick off our first event of the season this Friday. Bash at the Nash is a new event to the Sparta Events Line-Up. Last summer, we built the Parklet in the 201 E. Division parking lot as a vision to expand the public space within the community. After it was built, we saw that there was a bigger future for the space than what was originally imagined. And so came the Bash at the Nash. Bash at the Nash is not a weekly series, but everybody is welcome to come and enjoy the Parklet at any time.
Our first concert in the Parklet will feature the Bri Baron Band! The Bri Baron Band provides a mix of soul, pop-rock, and blues. They play a mix of covers and original songs. During the concert, Saladino and Smoke food truck will be parked nearby and serving food. There are also a variety of local restaurants to get takeout from. We’ll also be breaking out the Chamber fire pits, which some of you may be familiar with if you attended our Shop Sparta event this past winter. There will be s’more materials available for purchase. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own beer to the concert.
The event starts at 6 PM and the forecast is currently saying 75°F and sunny for evening. It’s looking to be a great evening to come out and get the summer started with a Bash! Don’t forget to look out for our raffle! Prizes at all concerts and Bashes!
